Our Story

My grandfather used all the waste waters from nearby towns created algae based purifying systems to reuse those waters for the flowers irrigation. My mother was a women’s right’s activist and worked hard to improve the lives of our farmers, many of whom are women who have experienced domestic violence or crime. In partnership with with a german institute GIZ, we developed a program that helps empower women who suffered from domestic violence. We have also certified our farms with Fair Trade USA and the Rainforest Alliance, two to the world’s most rigorous and respected credentials. Our continuing development projects - from offering dental to rural communities to school transportation for our workers’ children - have helped improve the lives of our employees and customers.

Hi. I’m Valentina, founder of BeMyRose.

I grew up in Ecuador, alongside beautiful flower farms and hard working artisans who cultivated the world’s best roses. My grandfather was the first man to plant roses in my country, and since then, every generation has been deeply involved with flower production on our rich volcanic highlands. For over four decades my family has cultivated world renowned flowers, shipping it from Siberia to Europe to the US, with a sustainable and social mission. Today, we have over 100 farmers, and 20 floral design experts doing flower bouquets daily.

So when it came time for me to get married, I knew I was covered by the same quality assurance and sustainable practices that have been satisfying flower lovers for years. My wedding was beautiful and the floral design process was completely stress-free and sustainable. Today, I’ve founded BeMyRose to make sure every bride out there has the same opportunity for amazing, sustainable flowers. We deliver my family’s incredible bouquets directly to you through a customizable, easy-to-order process, giving your special day a positive social impact along with outstanding floral design.
